About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the actuarial engineering team in developing pricing models, reserving methodologies, and risk assessment frameworks for diverse insurance products.
- Drive data‑driven insights by integrating large datasets, advanced statistical techniques, and predictive analytics to optimize underwriting and capital allocation.
- Collaborate with product, finance, and compliance leaders to ensure models meet regulatory standards and business objectives.
- Mentor and develop actuarial talent, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
- Represent the organization in industry forums, regulatory bodies, and client engagements on actuarial matters.
Requirements
- Extensive experience (10+ years) in actuarial science within the insurance industry, with a proven track record of leading complex modeling initiatives.
- Deep expertise in statistical analysis, data modeling, and predictive analytics using tools such as R, Python, or SAS.
- Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks (e.g., Solvency II, NAIC) and experience ensuring model compliance.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Advanced degree in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field preferred.
