About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the sustainment hardware team in design, verification, and production support of mission‑critical defense electronics.
- Architect and review PCB layouts, FPGA firmware, and embedded software to meet stringent reliability and performance requirements.
- Drive signal integrity, RF, and thermal analyses, ensuring compliance with aerospace and military standards.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (software, systems, manufacturing) to resolve technical issues and optimize product lifecycle.
- Mentor junior engineers, conduct design reviews, and enforce best practices in documentation and quality assurance.
Requirements
- 10+ years of hardware engineering experience in defense or aerospace environments.
- Proficiency in PCB design tools (Altium, OrCAD), FPGA development (VHDL/Verilog), and embedded C/C++.
- Strong background in signal integrity, RF design, and thermal management.
- Demonstrated leadership in managing multi‑disciplinary engineering teams.
- Excellent communication skills and a commitment to mission‑critical quality.
