Key Responsibilities
- Lead charge capture activities for all surgical procedures, ensuring accurate and timely billing entries.
- Collaborate with clinical staff, coders, and billing teams to resolve charge discrepancies and improve revenue cycle performance.
- Analyze surgical data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for revenue enhancement.
- Maintain compliance with coding standards, payer requirements, and internal audit guidelines.
- Provide training and support to charge entry personnel on best practices and system updates.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in surgical charge capture or revenue cycle management.
- Strong knowledge of medical coding (ICD‑10, CPT, HCPCS) and billing processes.
- Proficiency with EMR/charge capture systems and data analysis tools.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally.
- Detail‑oriented with a commitment to accuracy and regulatory compliance.
