Systems Engineer
Support / Systems Engineer responsible for maintaining hybrid on‑prem and cloud infrastructure, providing tier‑1/2 support to legal professionals, and troubleshooting end‑user devices using Windows, Linux, PowerShell, and AWS services.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and monitor hybrid infrastructure, including on‑prem Windows/Linux servers and cloud services (AWS).
- Provide Tier 1/2 technical support to attorneys and staff for desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
- Administer Active Directory, group policies, and user account lifecycle management.
- Automate routine tasks and incident remediation using PowerShell scripts.
- Assist with virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper‑V) for provisioning and troubleshooting virtual machines.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve complex issues and improve service reliability.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in systems administration or technical support in a Windows/Linux environment.
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory, networking fundamentals, and cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and troubleshooting.
- Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper‑V.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer‑focused attitude for supporting legal professionals.
