About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve production bugs in a high‑availability Python/Django checkout system.
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services to support new checkout features.
- Collaborate with product, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver timely fixes and improvements.
- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and continuous integration pipelines.
- Provide on‑call support and respond to customer incidents across multiple time zones.
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional experience with Python and Django.
- Strong understanding of REST API design, authentication, and performance tuning.
- Proficiency with Git, CI/CD, and containerized deployments (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
- Fluent English communication and a customer‑first mindset.
