Experienced Supply Chain Specialist III responsible for end‑to‑end procurement, contract administration, and logistics support, leveraging SAP and data analysis tools to ensure timely delivery of shipbuilding materials and services.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full procurement lifecycle for shipbuilding components, including requisition, sourcing, negotiation, and contract award.
- Maintain and update SAP master data, purchase orders, and supplier performance metrics.
- Coordinate logistics and transportation activities, ensuring on‑time delivery while complying with safety and security requirements.
- Analyze spend data and market trends to identify cost‑saving opportunities and support strategic sourcing decisions.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and finance teams to align supply plans with project schedules.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or related field and 5+ years of supply chain or procurement experience, preferably in aerospace or defense.
- Proficiency with SAP (MM module) and advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel for data analysis.
- Strong contract management knowledge, including FAR/DFAR compliance.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem‑solving abilities.
- U.S. citizenship and ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
