Data Analyst
Analyze and optimize supply chain data for a large health system, using SQL, Python, and Tableau to monitor patient information flow, generate insights, and support operational improvements.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor daily patient information flows across multiple clinical and supply chain systems to ensure data accuracy and timeliness.
- Develop, maintain, and automate SQL queries and Python scripts for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
- Create interactive dashboards and visual reports in Tableau to highlight supply chain performance, inventory levels, and utilization trends.
- Identify data quality issues, perform root‑cause analysis, and implement corrective actions in collaboration with IT and clinical teams.
- Support forecasting and demand planning by applying statistical analysis and predictive modeling techniques.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Health Informatics, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience working with SQL and Python for data manipulation and analysis.
- Proficiency in Tableau or similar data‑visualization tools.
- Strong understanding of healthcare supply chain processes and data standards.
- Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills.
