About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the supplier quality assurance program for wafer‑fabrication equipment, ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer specifications.
- Develop, execute, and maintain process validation and qualification plans for new and existing supplier components.
- Perform statistical analysis and root‑cause investigations on field failures, driving corrective and preventive actions.
- Coordinate cross‑functional teams—including design, manufacturing, and reliability—to resolve supplier‑related issues and improve product quality.
- Maintain and audit ISO/TS 16949 quality management system documentation for supplier activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in supplier quality or technical quality leadership within the semiconductor or high‑tech manufacturing sector.
- Strong knowledge of semiconductor fabrication processes, equipment qualification, and statistical quality tools (e.g., SPC, DOE).
- Proven ability to lead root‑cause investigations, drive corrective actions, and manage supplier corrective action requests (SCARs).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience working in global, matrixed environments.
