About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate security operations for Judiciary IT assets, ensuring continuous protection and rapid incident response.
- Develop, implement, and maintain security policies, standards, and guidelines aligned with national IT security frameworks.
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments, vulnerability management, and threat modeling to safeguard court environments.
- Manage third‑party risk, evaluating vendors and partners for compliance with security requirements.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to integrate security controls across the Judiciary.
- Provide strategic guidance on security architecture, emerging threats, and technology roadmaps.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in IT security, including leadership of security operations.
- Deep knowledge of security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls) and regulatory compliance (FISMA, HIPAA).
- Proven expertise in incident response, risk assessment, and security architecture design.
- Strong communication skills, capable of translating technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
