Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain IT policy, standards, and procedures aligned with naval operations objectives.
- Lead cross‑functional project teams to deliver technology solutions on schedule and within budget.
- Assess and mitigate IT risks, ensuring compliance with federal regulations and cybersecurity best practices.
- Oversee cloud strategy implementation, including migration, governance, and cost optimization.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to IT staff, fostering continuous improvement and professional growth.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of progressive IT leadership experience in a complex, regulated environment.
- Strong knowledge of IT governance frameworks (ITIL, COBIT) and cybersecurity standards (NIST, ISO 27001).
- Proven project management skills with experience in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities.
