Key Responsibilities
- Develop, review, and update IT policy documents, ensuring alignment with federal regulations and defense standards.
- Lead cross‑functional teams to implement IT governance frameworks and risk management processes.
- Conduct policy impact assessments and recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency and security posture.
- Coordinate with senior leadership to integrate IT strategy with organizational mission objectives.
- Oversee compliance audits, prepare reports, and drive corrective actions across multiple IT domains.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive IT policy, governance, or risk management experience in a complex environment.
- Strong knowledge of federal IT regulations (e.g., NIST, DoD directives) and compliance frameworks.
- Demonstrated leadership and project management skills with a track record of delivering policy initiatives.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, capable of translating technical concepts for non‑technical stakeholders.
