About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and mentor a team of network engineers supporting campus networking and isolation architecture.
- Design, implement, and maintain firewall policies and access control lists to protect special‑purpose systems.
- Configure, troubleshoot, and optimize routing and switching equipment, primarily Cisco platforms.
- Monitor network performance, conduct security assessments, and respond to incidents to ensure high availability.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional IT groups to integrate new services and enforce security standards.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience with Cisco routing, switching, and security technologies.
- Proven expertise in firewall administration and ACL configuration.
- Strong understanding of network isolation concepts and campus‑wide network design.
- Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience in an IT environment.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCIE, CISSP) preferred.
