About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate InfoSec activities within the G6 Cybersecurity Directorate, ensuring compliance with federal security standards.
- Lead incident response efforts, conduct investigations, and implement mitigation strategies for cyber threats.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and risk assessment frameworks for the White Sands Missile Range.
- Manage a team of cybersecurity professionals, providing mentorship, training, and performance evaluations.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate security controls into system design and operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in cybersecurity, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of network security, incident response, risk management, and federal security regulations.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
- Security clearance or ability to obtain one.
