Supervisory IT Specialist - Immediate Office of the Chief of Naval Operations

Key Responsibilities

• Direct and mentor a team of IT specialists in daily operations, performance management, and professional development.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute IT projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and timelines.
• Oversee network infrastructure, cloud services, and cybersecurity measures to maintain availability, integrity, and compliance.
• Implement and manage IT service management processes (e.g., incident, problem, change management) to improve service quality.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define technical requirements, develop solutions, and provide strategic guidance.

Requirements

• Proven experience in supervising IT teams and managing complex technical environments.
• Strong knowledge of network administration, cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure), and cybersecurity best practices.
• Demonstrated ability to lead projects using recognized methodologies (e.g., PMP, Agile).
• Excellent communication, analytical, and decision‑making skills.
• Relevant certifications such as ITIL, CISSP, or equivalent are preferred.
