Supervisory IT Specialist - Army Tank-Automotive and Armament Command (TACOM)

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate IT operations, ensuring reliable network and system performance across the corporate information office.
• Lead change management processes, evaluating, approving, and implementing IT changes to minimize risk and downtime.
• Develop and enforce information security policies, conduct risk assessments, and ensure compliance with federal regulations.
• Manage project lifecycles, from planning and budgeting to execution and post-implementation review, aligning with organizational objectives.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior IT staff, fostering professional growth and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of progressive IT experience, including supervisory responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of network administration, cybersecurity best practices, and change management frameworks.
• Proven project management skills with a track record of delivering complex IT initiatives on time and within budget.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, PMP, ITIL) are highly desirable.
