About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a multidisciplinary security operations team to detect, analyze, and respond to cyber incidents across the organization.
- Develop and maintain incident response playbooks, run tabletop exercises, and coordinate cross‑functional response efforts.
- Conduct risk assessments, vulnerability management, and security architecture reviews to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements.
- Oversee threat intelligence gathering, analysis, and dissemination to inform proactive security measures.
- Collaborate with IT, legal, and compliance teams to implement security controls and ensure continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field; advanced certifications (CISSP, CISM, GCIH) preferred.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in cybersecurity operations, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
- Deep knowledge of incident response frameworks, threat hunting, and security toolchains (SIEM, SOAR, EDR).
- Strong understanding of federal regulations (FISMA, NIST, FedRAMP) and compliance frameworks.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
