About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of cybersecurity analysts to conduct risk assessments, vulnerability management, and threat intelligence activities across enterprise systems.
- Develop and implement incident response plans, coordinate investigations, and ensure timely remediation of security incidents.
- Design and maintain security architecture frameworks, including network segmentation, access controls, and encryption strategies.
- Ensure compliance with DoD security policies, NIST SP 800 series, and other regulatory requirements.
- Provide mentorship, training, and performance evaluations for junior staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in information security, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Deep knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001) and DoD security standards.
- Proficiency in threat hunting, incident response, and security architecture design.
- Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
- Active DoD security clearance or eligibility for clearance.
