Supervisory IT Cybersecurity Specialist - Army National Guard Units

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor a team of cybersecurity analysts, ensuring effective execution of security operations.
• Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and controls to safeguard information systems.
• Conduct risk assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration testing to identify and remediate security gaps.
• Coordinate incident response activities, including investigation, containment, and recovery of security incidents.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and industry regulations such as NIST, FISMA, and ISO 27001.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT cybersecurity, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of network security technologies, threat intelligence, and incident response frameworks.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to train and develop staff.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH are highly desirable.
