About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Direct and supervise a team responsible for the design, deployment, and maintenance of enterprise network systems.
- Develop and execute network architecture plans, ensuring alignment with mission requirements and future growth.
- Manage network security initiatives, including firewalls, intrusion detection, and vulnerability mitigation.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to define network service levels, performance metrics, and troubleshooting procedures.
- Oversee budgeting, procurement, and lifecycle management of networking hardware and software.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; advanced certifications (e.g., CCNP, CISSP) preferred.
- Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in network engineering, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or lead role.
- Strong knowledge of Cisco routing and switching, TCP/IP protocols, and network security best practices.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects, budgets, and cross‑functional teams.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills, with a focus on mission‑critical environments.
