Lead and manage cybersecurity operations for the DoD Cyber Crime Center’s Voluntary Disclosure Program, overseeing risk assessment, incident response, and compliance initiatives to protect national cyber assets.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Exercise second‑level supervisory and managerial authority over the Voluntary Disclosure Program, ensuring effective program execution and alignment with DoD policies.
- Lead risk assessment, incident response, and mitigation efforts for cyber threats impacting DoD systems.
- Develop and enforce security controls, policies, and procedures to maintain compliance with federal regulations and DoD standards.
- Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to analyze security incidents, conduct investigations, and implement corrective actions.
- Provide guidance and training to staff on cybersecurity best practices and emerging threat landscapes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in cybersecurity roles with supervisory responsibilities.
- In‑depth knowledge of DoD cybersecurity frameworks, risk management, and incident response processes.
- Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
- Relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, or equivalent) are highly desirable.
