About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and mentor a team of IT specialists in Cyberspace Operations, ensuring mission‑critical security posture.
- Develop, implement, and maintain InfoSec policies, procedures, and network security controls across the unit.
- Lead incident response efforts, coordinating with federal and state agencies to investigate and remediate cyber threats.
- Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration tests to identify and mitigate risks.
- Collaborate with command staff to align cybersecurity strategies with operational objectives and compliance requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in InfoSec and network security roles, with at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity.
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001), network protocols, and incident response methodologies.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills.
- Valid security clearance or ability to obtain one.
