Software Engineer
Lead analytics development for population health, building data models, dashboards, and insights using SQL, Python, R, SAS, Tableau, and Power BI to support evidence‑based decision making.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust data models and ETL pipelines to support population health analytics.
- Create interactive dashboards and reports in Tableau and Power BI for clinical and operational stakeholders.
- Write complex SQL queries and Python scripts to extract, transform, and analyze large datasets.
- Collaborate with data scientists and clinicians to translate research findings into actionable insights.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance with privacy regulations.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in analytics development within a healthcare or population health environment.
- Strong experience with Tableau and Power BI for data visualization.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to communicate complex findings to non‑technical audiences.
- Knowledge of healthcare data standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR) is a plus.
