Software Engineer
Lead the design and implementation of substation infrastructure, applying electrical engineering principles and advanced CAD tools to deliver reliable, scalable power solutions for modern grids.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed substation design drawings and specifications using AutoCAD and related CAD software.
- Perform power system studies, load flow, short‑circuit, and protection coordination analyses to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate SCADA and protection system requirements into project deliverables.
- Prepare and review engineering reports, cost estimates, and procurement documentation.
- Support field installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of substation equipment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in substation design and power system analysis.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, PSS/E, and SCADA configuration tools.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple project deliverables simultaneously.
