Software Engineer
Lead sub‑projects for embedded equipment and component products, overseeing system engineering activities, schedule creation, and cross‑functional coordination using Microsoft Project and proven project management practices.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define and drive the technical scope, schedule, and deliverables for sub‑projects within the embedded equipment portfolio.
- Coordinate cross‑functional teams—including hardware, firmware, and test engineering—to ensure alignment with system architecture and product requirements.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans in Microsoft Project, tracking progress, risks, and resource allocation.
- Facilitate regular status meetings, reporting milestones and issues to senior management and stakeholders.
- Apply systems engineering principles to validate design integration, perform trade‑off analyses, and ensure compliance with quality standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience in project management or sub‑project leadership for embedded hardware or component products.
- Strong knowledge of systems engineering processes and embedded system development cycles.
- Hands‑on proficiency with Microsoft Project for planning, tracking, and reporting.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills, with the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams.
- Technical background in electronics, firmware, or related engineering discipline (B.Sc. or higher preferred).
