Software Engineer

About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of 8‑10 engineers, including Systems Engineers, Software Engineers, and Engineering Project Managers.
- Define and execute a strategic roadmap for platform computing systems that aligns with business objectives and customer needs.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across performance, quality, and development processes using model‑based and agile practices.
- Oversee project delivery, ensuring milestones, budgets, and technical specifications are met on schedule.
- Collaborate with Application Engineering and other cross‑functional groups to translate requirements into robust system architectures.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or higher in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field with 8+ years of relevant experience.
- Proven leadership experience managing interdisciplinary engineering teams in a complex, high‑tech environment.
- Strong background in systems engineering principles, model‑based development, and software development (C/C++, Python, or similar).
- Demonstrated success delivering large‑scale technical projects using Agile or similar iterative methodologies.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership.
