Analyze student data to drive academic success initiatives, leveraging Python, SQL, and Tableau to uncover insights and inform institutional research strategies.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and analyze large student datasets to identify trends impacting academic performance and retention.
- Develop and maintain dashboards in Tableau to visualize key metrics for faculty and administrators.
- Apply statistical techniques in Python and R to model student outcomes and forecast future needs.
- Collaborate with academic departments to design data-driven interventions that improve student success.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior leadership, translating complex findings into actionable recommendations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Education, or related field.
- Proven experience with SQL, Python, and data visualization tools (Tableau).
- Strong analytical mindset with ability to perform advanced statistical analysis.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to present findings to non-technical audiences.
- Experience in higher education or institutional research is a plus.
