Part‑time Structural Water Engineer responsible for designing, analyzing, and optimizing water infrastructure projects using hydraulic modeling, GIS, and AutoCAD, with scripting in Python to streamline workflows and support sustainable water solutions.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and review hydraulic and structural designs for water supply, stormwater, and wastewater systems.
- Perform hydraulic modeling and analysis using industry‑standard software to evaluate flow, pressure, and capacity.
- Create and maintain GIS datasets and spatial analyses to support project planning and asset management.
- Generate detailed AutoCAD drawings and documentation for design reviews and construction.
- Write and maintain Python scripts to automate data processing, model calibration, and reporting.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate design solutions into larger infrastructure projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Water Resources, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in water infrastructure design and hydraulic modeling.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
