- Day-to-day responsibilities include the development of detailed structural designs for a variety of projects including water and wastewater treatment facilities, pump stations, lift stations, tanks, vaults, and other ancillary structures associated with water and sewer infrastructure projects.
- Develop finite element models to analyze various structures
- Develop a basic understanding of the water/wastewater treatment process and the importance of the role of structural engineers.
- Typical designs will include treatment process basins, chemical facilities, administration buildings, retaining walls, and other supporting structures.
- Prepare construction cost estimates
- Review construction submittals

Requirements:
- Candidates must be pursuing a structural engineering major from an ABET accredited program
