Software Engineer
Perform structural analysis, seismic qualification, and design of steel, reinforced concrete, and masonry systems using ANSYS, SAP2000, STAAD Pro, and SSASI, while managing ageing and delivering complete engineering packages.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct structural analysis and seismic qualification for steel, reinforced concrete, and masonry components.
- Develop detailed engineering calculations, design documents, and complete package deliverables.
- Utilize ANSYS, SAP2000, STAAD Pro, and SSASI to model, simulate, and verify structural performance.
- Lead conceptual, preliminary, and detailed design phases, ensuring compliance with nuclear industry standards.
- Manage ageing assessment and mitigation strategies for existing structures.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; professional registration preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in structural analysis and design, preferably in nuclear or heavy‑industry environments.
- Proficiency with ANSYS, SAP2000, STAAD Pro, and SSASI.
- Strong knowledge of seismic codes, fatigue analysis, and ageing management practices.
- Excellent technical writing and communication skills for preparing engineering reports.
