Software Engineer
Structural Engineer responsible for designing, analysing and documenting structural solutions for data centre and commercial office projects using BIM, AutoCAD, Revit and SAP2000, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed structural designs and calculations for data centre and commercial office projects, ensuring compliance with local codes and industry standards.
- Create and maintain BIM models, AutoCAD drawings and Revit families to support design intent and construction documentation.
- Perform structural analysis using SAP2000 and other analysis tools, validating design assumptions and optimizing member sizing.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including civil, mechanical and electrical engineers, to integrate structural solutions into overall project deliverables.
- Prepare technical reports, cost estimates and construction specifications, and review contractor submittals for accuracy and compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in structural design for data centre or commercial office environments.
- Proficiency in BIM, AutoCAD, Revit and SAP2000.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
