Detail‑oriented Data Processor/Analyst responsible for acquiring, processing, validating, and analyzing data that supports the assessment of U.S. Strategic Weapon System accuracy and reliability, using Python, SQL, and statistical techniques.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, ingest, and preprocess raw data from multiple sensor and simulation sources to support weapon system performance assessments.
- Develop and maintain automated data pipelines using Python and SQL to ensure timely and accurate data delivery.
- Perform data validation, quality checks, and error tracking to guarantee completeness and reliability of outputs.
- Generate analytical reports and visualizations that summarize findings for technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Collaborate with engineers and scientists to refine data requirements, improve processing workflows, and enhance overall efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics) or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in Python for data manipulation and analysis, including libraries such as pandas, NumPy, and matplotlib.
- Strong SQL skills for querying and managing relational databases.
- Experience with statistical analysis, data quality assurance, and creating clear visual reports.
- Excellent attention to detail, problem‑solving abilities, and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
