Steam Service Engineer responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting industrial steam boilers and related systems, ensuring safety, reliability, and optimal performance across diverse sectors.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain steam boilers, ensuring continuous, efficient, and safe production of steam for industrial processes.
- Diagnose and resolve operational issues, perform preventive maintenance, and conduct routine inspections to minimize downtime.
- Implement safety protocols, conduct risk assessments, and maintain compliance with industry regulations and company standards.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to optimize system performance and support plant operations.
- Document maintenance activities, generate reports, and recommend equipment upgrades or replacements.
Requirements
- Experience in steam boiler operation and maintenance in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
- Familiarity with safety regulations (OSHA, ISO) and a commitment to a safe work culture.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the region as needed.
