About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high‑performance Elixir applications using Phoenix and OTP.
- Architect and implement distributed, fault‑tolerant systems that scale to millions of concurrent users.
- Mentor and coach junior developers, conducting code reviews and fostering best practices.
- Collaborate with product, DevOps, and QA teams to deliver reliable, secure software on time.
- Research and evaluate new Elixir ecosystem tools, proposing improvements to architecture and workflow.
Requirements
- 10+ years of professional software development experience, with 5+ years in Elixir/Erlang.
- Deep knowledge of OTP principles, GenServer, supervision trees, and message passing.
- Proficiency with Phoenix, Ecto, and related libraries.
- Experience building and deploying distributed systems on cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Strong communication skills and a proven track record of mentoring teams.
