Key Responsibilities
- Architect and oversee secure system designs for high‑impact defense platforms, ensuring compliance with DoD and federal security standards.
- Lead threat modeling, risk assessment, and vulnerability management initiatives across multi‑domain networks.
- Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and controls for system development life cycles.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate security into product roadmaps and engineering processes.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering and security staff on secure design practices.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity systems engineering within a defense or high‑security environment.
- Deep expertise in secure architecture, threat modeling, and incident response.
- Strong knowledge of network security, secure coding, and compliance frameworks (NIST, DoD, ISO).
- Excellent communication skills and ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Secret clearance required; willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.
