Senior program manager leading planning, execution, and delivery of autonomy and flight‑software projects, coordinating multiple workstreams such as flight controls, mission management, embedded systems, simulation, and ground control.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Own end‑to‑end delivery of autonomy and flight‑software initiatives across CTOL and VTOL platforms.
- Define, prioritize, and manage multi‑team roadmaps, ensuring alignment with technical, safety, and regulatory milestones.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies, track progress in Jira/Confluence, and drive continuous improvement of the software development lifecycle.
- Coordinate cross‑functional stakeholders—including flight controls, perception, planning, and hardware teams—to resolve dependencies and mitigate risks.
- Lead risk identification, mitigation planning, and status reporting to senior leadership and external partners.
Requirements
- 10+ years of technical program or project management experience in aerospace, defense, or high‑performance software environments.
- Proven expertise in Agile methodologies, systems engineering, and managing complex, safety‑critical software projects.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with a track record of influencing senior technical and executive audiences.
- Hands‑on understanding of embedded systems, simulation tools, and flight‑control software architectures.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
