Key Responsibilities
- Architect and implement robust security controls for mission‑critical defense systems, ensuring compliance with federal standards.
- Lead threat modeling and risk assessments, translating findings into actionable design improvements.
- Integrate security into CI/CD pipelines, automating vulnerability scanning and remediation across cloud and on‑prem deployments.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to enforce secure coding practices and conduct penetration testing.
- Develop and maintain security documentation, incident response playbooks, and compliance artifacts.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in systems security engineering within high‑assurance environments.
- Deep knowledge of secure architecture, threat modeling, and defensive design principles.
- Proficiency with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) and DevSecOps tooling.
- Strong communication skills and ability to mentor junior engineers.
- Active security clearance or ability to obtain one.
