Staff Systems Engineer - Weapons RE

As a Staff Systems Engineer - Weapons RE, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and integrating complex systems for weapons and defense applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement software solutions, leveraging expertise in software development, systems engineering, and Agile methodologies. You will also be responsible for leading and mentoring junior engineers, as well as collaborating with customers and stakeholders to understand requirements and develop solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop complex systems for weapons and defense applications, leveraging expertise in software development, systems engineering, and Agile methodologies.
• Lead and mentor junior engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project delivery.
• Collaborate with customers and stakeholders to understand requirements and develop solutions that meet their needs.
• Develop and implement software solutions, leveraging expertise in languages such as Python and C++.
• Integrate complex systems, leveraging expertise in Linux and AWS.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in software development, systems engineering, and Agile methodologies.
• Expertise in languages such as Python and C++.
• Experience with Linux and AWS.
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with ability to lead and guide junior engineers.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with ability to work effectively with customers and stakeholders.
