Systems Engineer
Lead design, integration, and deployment of sensor‑based drone detection systems, driving product development from concept through field maintenance using Python, C++, Linux, and cloud services.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and validate sensor‑fusion software and firmware for real‑time drone detection platforms.
- Lead end‑to‑end system integration, including hardware bring‑up, Linux kernel configuration, and cloud connectivity.
- Collaborate with product, security, and customer teams to translate requirements into scalable system designs.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and monitoring to ensure reliable deployments and rapid iteration.
- Provide technical leadership during field trials, deployment, and ongoing maintenance, troubleshooting complex issues across hardware and software layers.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in systems engineering, embedded software development, and large‑scale sensor integration.
- Proficiency in Python and C++ development on Linux/Unix environments.
- Strong background with embedded platforms, real‑time operating systems, and hardware bring‑up.
- Hands‑on experience with cloud services (AWS) and infrastructure‑as‑code for data ingestion and processing.
- Demonstrated ability to design CI/CD pipelines, automated test frameworks, and to lead cross‑functional technical teams.
