About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define architecture and integration strategy for driver monitoring systems across VIP, SDV2.0, and SC3.0 vehicle platforms.
- Lead cross‑functional teams to develop hardware‑software interfaces, including MCU/SoC bring‑up, sensor calibration, and real‑time data processing.
- Collaborate with suppliers and internal software groups to implement and validate driver monitoring algorithms and safety‑critical features.
- Drive system‑level testing, verification, and validation activities to meet functional safety and performance targets.
- Mentor senior engineers, establish best practices, and contribute to technical roadmaps for in‑cabin sensing and automated driving.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in embedded systems engineering, preferably in automotive ADAS or automated driving.
- Strong proficiency in C++ and Python for real‑time sensor processing and algorithm development.
- Hands‑on experience with MCU/SoC integration, sensor fusion, and driver monitoring hardware.
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex, cross‑functional projects and work with external suppliers.
- Knowledge of functional safety standards (ISO 26262) and automotive development processes.
