Software Engineer
Senior Staff Software Engineer focused on QA, leading test architecture and quality strategy for Identity Manager. Owns automated test frameworks across unit, integration, system, and performance levels, driving release confidence and defect resolution.
Overview
We are looking for a Staff Software Engineer with strong QA focus to join the Identity Manager development team. This role combines deep software engineering expertise with quality leadership responsibilities.
You will act as a technical authority in test architecture, quality strategy, and release confidence while remaining hands-on in automation, system validation, and complex defect analysis. This is not a traditional QA role — it is a senior engineering position with end-to-end ownership of product quality.
Responsibilities
Define and drive the quality strategy for Identity Manager (Modules)
Architect and evolve automated test frameworks (unit, integration, system, performance)
Ensure high release confidence for enterprise-scale deployments
Lead root cause analysis of complex cross-component defects
Improve testability, observability, and diagnosability of the product
Establish measurable quality metrics (coverage, escape rate, reliability trends)
Mentor engineers in quality-first engineering practices
Contribute to CI/CD pipeline improvements with strong automation focus
Support critical customer escalations with deep technical investigation
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in software engineering or test engineering
Strong programming skills (C# / .NET preferred)
Proven experience designing scalable test automation frameworks
Deep understanding of:
Enterprise backend systems
Database validation and SQL
Integration and API testing
Performance and reliability testing
Experience working in complex, configurable enterprise platforms
Confident English proficiency, both written and spoken.
Strong debugging and analytical skills
Experience with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., code generation, test generation, productivity tools) or openness to actively adopt them
Ability to influence engineering quality standards across teams
Preferred qualifications
Experience in IAM / Identity Governance domain
Experience modernizing legacy test frameworks
Familiarity with cloud environments (Azure preferred)
CI/CD and DevOps mindset
Experience working in highly regulated or security-sensitive environments
