Accountabilities:
- Lead the design, development, and delivery of highly scalable planning and tracking solutions that enhance collaboration and productivity for developers worldwide.
- Architect, prototype, and implement customer-facing features, including AI-powered capabilities that improve project management workflows and user experiences.
- Drive technical strategy and long-term platform investments by identifying foundational improvements in scalability, reliability, and system performance.
- Author architectural proposals, conduct technical research, and validate new approaches through experimentation and prototyping.
- Partner closely with engineering and product leadership to define priorities, shape roadmaps, and align technical initiatives with business objectives.
- Contribute directly to production systems through hands-on coding, debugging, and continuous improvement of the codebase.
- Promote engineering excellence through mentorship, code reviews, knowledge sharing, and technical guidance across teams.
- Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing engineering culture while championing best practices in distributed software development.
Requirements
- Extensive software engineering experience, typically gained through 7+ years of professional development experience with a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Go, JavaScript, Python, Ruby, C#, Java, Rust, or similar technologies.
- Proven experience building, operating, and supporting large-scale, high-traffic distributed systems and cloud-native applications.
- At least 4+ years of experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
