Staff Software Engineer, Developer Productivity CI/CD - Claude Code - Anthropic

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and operate a high‑throughput CI/CD platform that moves code from pull request to production with minimal friction.
• Develop automation for code review, testing, and merge‑queue management, ensuring reliability and fast feedback cycles.
• Build and maintain scalable deployment pipelines on Kubernetes, integrating with internal policy engines and observability tooling.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to define and enforce policies that gate each stage of the delivery process.
• Mentor engineers on best practices for CI/CD, automation, and infrastructure as code.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience building large‑scale CI/CD, build, or deployment systems.
• Strong proficiency in Python and Go, with a deep understanding of Git workflows and automation.
• Hands‑on experience with Kubernetes, container orchestration, and cloud environments (e.g., AWS, GCP).
• Proven track record of designing reliable, low‑latency pipelines and implementing robust testing and verification frameworks.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work cross‑functionally in a fast‑moving, research‑driven environment.
