About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and develop high‑frequency RF subsystems, including transceiver, front‑end, and antenna components, for next‑generation defense platforms.
- Perform detailed RF modeling, simulation, and analysis using tools such as MATLAB, ADS, and HFSS to validate performance against stringent specifications.
- Lead prototype fabrication, integration, and test campaigns, interpreting measurement data to refine designs and ensure compliance with security and reliability standards.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional engineering teams, program managers, and external partners to define requirements, manage technical risk, and deliver milestones on schedule.
- Mentor junior engineers, establish best practices, and contribute to technical reviews, design documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or higher in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related field with 8+ years of RF system design experience.
- Proficiency in RF circuit and antenna design, signal‑processing concepts, and hands‑on testing using spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, and RF test equipment.
- Strong programming skills in MATLAB and C++ for algorithm development, simulation, and automation.
- Experience with high‑security environments, including active Secret clearance and ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
- Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and leadership abilities in a collaborative, fast‑paced engineering setting.
