About the role
As a Staff/Principal Engineer in OCT MTE Material Engineering, you will lead the development of advanced materials and computational modeling techniques. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and improve material engineering processes. You will be responsible for developing and implementing new technologies and methodologies to enhance material properties and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement new materials and computational modeling techniques using Python, Node.js, and Machine Learning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and improve material engineering processes.
- Develop and maintain computational models and simulations to predict material behavior.
- Work with data scientists to develop and implement machine learning algorithms to analyze material data.
- Develop and implement new technologies and methodologies to enhance material properties and performance.
Requirements:
- Ph.D. in Materials Science, Physics, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in material engineering and computational modeling.
- Expertise in Python, Node.js, and Machine Learning.
- Experience with AWS and cloud-based computing.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
