Devops Engineer
Lead the design and delivery of cloud‑native platform services, driving modern full‑cycle development practices, automation, and developer experience for a large financial institution.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, build, and operate scalable, secure platform services on cloud infrastructure (AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform).
- Define and champion best‑in‑class CI/CD pipelines, automation, and observability to accelerate software delivery.
- Mentor engineering teams on modern development practices, micro‑service patterns, and DevOps culture.
- Collaborate with product, security, and operations stakeholders to ensure platform reliability, compliance, and performance.
- Drive continuous improvement of developer tooling, self‑service capabilities, and platform documentation.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering or platform engineering experience, with a focus on cloud native architectures.
- Deep expertise in Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions).
- Strong programming skills in Python and Java, and solid understanding of micro‑service design.
- Proven track record of leading technical initiatives and mentoring senior engineers.
- Experience with security, compliance, and reliability practices in a regulated financial environment.
