About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end‑to‑end model‑based systems engineering activities for large‑scale aerospace programs, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain system architecture models, requirements traceability matrices, and verification plans using industry‑standard tools.
- Drive process improvement initiatives, establishing best practices for model creation, validation, and change management.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (design, manufacturing, quality, and operations) to resolve technical issues and optimize system performance.
- Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in model‑based systems engineering within the aerospace or defense sector.
- Proficiency with SysML, DO-178C/DO-254, and model‑based tools such as PTC Integrity, Cameo Systems Modeler, or equivalent.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills, with a proven track record of leading cross‑functional projects.
- Experience with process improvement frameworks (Six Sigma, Lean) and project management methodologies (PMI, Agile).
