Lead the design and delivery of high‑performance mobile experiences for a global payments platform, driving architecture, performance, and cross‑functional collaboration using Kotlin, Swift, and React Native.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define and own the mobile architecture for both iOS and Android, ensuring scalability, security, and high performance.
- Mentor and guide senior and junior engineers, fostering best practices in code quality, testing, and continuous delivery.
- Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to translate business requirements into seamless mobile experiences.
- Drive the adoption of modern mobile frameworks such as React Native while maintaining native expertise in Kotlin and Swift.
- Implement robust CI/CD pipelines and leverage cloud services (AWS) to automate builds, releases, and monitoring.
Requirements
- 10+ years of professional software development experience, with at least 5 years focused on mobile (iOS and Android) at a senior or staff level.
- Deep expertise in Kotlin, Swift, Android SDK, iOS SDK, and modern cross‑platform frameworks (e.g., React Native).
- Proven track record of designing and shipping complex, high‑traffic mobile applications in a fast‑moving, fintech environment.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD, automated testing, and cloud infrastructure (AWS) for mobile back‑ends.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence technical direction across distributed teams.
