ML Engineer
Lead the design and deployment of scalable machine learning pipelines on AWS, integrating data from diverse healthcare sources to power advanced analytics and interoperability solutions.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and implement end‑to‑end ML workflows using Python, Spark, and AWS services (S3, Glue, SageMaker, Lambda).
- Collaborate with data engineering teams to ingest, clean, and transform heterogeneous healthcare datasets.
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for model training, validation, and production deployment on Kubernetes clusters.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare data regulations (HIPAA, GDPR) through secure data handling and audit logging.
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews to uphold best practices in ML engineering.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in production ML engineering within a regulated industry.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and experience with AWS ML services.
- Strong background in data engineering, ETL pipelines, and container orchestration.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Effective communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration.
