Machine Learning Engineer
The Staff Machine Learning Engineer will be the first ML expert in an observability startup, responsible for building and shipping ML-powered technology to production with autonomy over the ML stack. This role involves working across various projects, staying updated on AI/ML advancements (especially LLMs), and has a strong growth path to Head of ML.
We are currently seeking a Staff ML Engineer for an exciting startup in the observability space who recently emerged from Stealth mode. This business, founded by an entrepreneur who successfully sold their previous APM for $500 million, is focusing on Opentelemetry and has a substantial runway for 3-5 years. They are looking for their first ML expert to join the team.
As a Staff ML Engineer, you will be an integral part of an empowered product team dedicated to creating the best observability tool for end-users. This is a greenfield role where you will be responsible for shipping machine-learning powered technology to production and working across a multitude of projects. You will also have full autonomy in choosing the ML stack and exploring different ways of applying ML to software. Furthermore, you will be expected to stay abreast of advancements in AI/ML, particularly LLMs, and apply these to solve observability challenges.
This position offers a clear growth path, with the potential to progress to a Head of ML and possibly an Executive position as the company scales in the coming years.
