About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and implement end‑to‑end ML pipelines that integrate physics‑based models with data‑driven techniques for grid simulation.
- Collaborate with domain experts to translate electrical engineering principles into scalable algorithms.
- Design and maintain distributed training and inference systems on cloud platforms (AWS/GCP).
- Optimize model performance and resource utilization for real‑time stress‑testing scenarios.
- Mentor junior engineers and drive best practices in code quality, testing, and documentation.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in machine learning engineering, with a strong background in deep learning.
- Proficiency in Python, PyTorch/TensorFlow, and experience with large‑scale data processing (Spark, Dask).
- Hands‑on experience deploying ML models to cloud environments (AWS SageMaker, GCP AI Platform).
- Solid understanding of physics‑based modeling and numerical simulation in power systems.
- Excellent communication skills and a track record of leading cross‑functional teams.
